JACOB SHINGLER
DRUM INSTRUCTOR
A BRAXTON COUNTY NATIVE AND GRADUATE OF GLENVILLE STATE COLLEGE WITH A BACHELORS DEGREE IN MUSIC TECHNOLOGY AND PERFORMANCE WITH A SPECIALIZATION IN PERCUSSION. JACOB HAS BEEN PLAYING PERCUSSION FOR 17 YEARS AND HAS PERFORMED IN VARIOUS ENSEMBLES AT GLENVILLE STATE COLLEGE, INCLUDING: PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE, JAZZ COMBO, JAZZ BAND, MARCHING BAND, AND CONCERT BAND.
CHLOE PAINTER
PIANO INSTRUCTOR
CHLOE PAINTER IS A NATIVE WEST VIRGINIAN MUSICIAN, SONGWRITER, AND PERFORMER. SHE BEGAN HER MUSIC CAREER AT THE AGE OF 11, PLAYING PIANO AND SINGING ON STAGE WITH VARIOUS MUSICIANS AND IN MULTIPLE GENRES. THROUGH A DECADE-LONG CAREER SHE HAS PLAYED VENUES SUCH AS; THE STATE FAIR OF WEST VIRGINIA, CHARLESTON'S FESTIVALL, AND TAMARACK'S ANNIVERSARY GALA. AFTER GAINING EXPERIENCE ON STAGE, CHLOE BEGAN OFFERING PRIVATE, BEGINNER PIANO AND VOCAL LESSONS IN 2019. AND IN 2021 SHE WAS A FEATURED VOCAL INSTRUCTOR FOR THEATRE WEST VIRGINA'S ACADEMY. CHLOE CONTINUES TO PERFORM ON STAGE AND CREATE NEW MUSIC WITH HER BAND, VERDEANT BAND.
TODD COTTRILL
GUITAR INSTRUCTOR
A GRADUATE OF WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY AND HARRISON COUNTY NATIVE WITH A DEGREE IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING. TODD HAS BEEN PLAYING GUITAR FOR OVER 25 YEARS AND HAS BEEN IN SEVERAL LOCAL ROCK, METAL, AND OTHER BANDS. HE IS A BASS PLAYER AND DRUMMER AS WELL AND LOVES TO COMPOSE AND PLAY MUSIC OF ALL TYPES.
